The Alfa Romeo 4C has accomplished a lap time of 8:04 around the Nürburgring, a new lap record for cars with less than 250 hp.
The 4C has a small turbocharged 4-cylinder engine producing 240 hp, but the car weights only 895 kg, thanks to a carbon fibre tub (like the McLaren MP14-12C!).
Alfa Romeo har nu visat officiella bilder på sin lilla mittmotorsportbil i produktionsklar form. Den är mycket lik de prototyper och koncept som visats tidigare. Bravissimo!
Enligt ryktena ska den få drygt 250 hästar och väga drygt 1 000 kg. Alfa har sagt att vikt/effekt-förhållandet är cirka 4 kg/hästkraft. Mycket, mycket lovande!
