The Alfa Romeo 4C has accomplished a lap time of 8:04 around the Nürburgring, a new lap record for cars with less than 250 hp.

The 4C has a small turbocharged 4-cylinder engine producing 240 hp, but the car weights only 895 kg, thanks to a carbon fibre tub (like the McLaren MP14-12C!).
